Credit Unions for Kids is one of the Northwest legacies we’re most proud of. The credit union movement’s “charity of choice” was born in 1986 when a group of Northwest credit unions began raising money for sick children. Their idea was adopted nationally in 1996. Today, Credit Unions for Kids is the third largest fundraiser for the 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and has raised more than $150 million for the kids.
Credit Unions for Kids is a nonprofit collaboration of credit unions, chapters, leagues and associations, and business partners from across the country, engaged in fundraising activities to benefit 170 Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals.
Every single dollar donated by members of the credit union movement stays local. That means that 100 percent of donations go back to the CMN Hospital that serves your community, your members. CMN Hospitals treat millions of children every year. Give generously.
